Anghami - Zikrayat Playlist
Challenge
Alzheimer's Association Lebanon aimed to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease and promote music as a means of triggering memories and reducing anxiety for patients.
Thought process
Acknowledging the challenges faced by Alzheimer's patients and their families, AAL recognised the therapeutic benefits of music. We then leveraged the help of one popular music streaming platform to provide personalised playlists tailored to patients' memories.
Partnering with Anghami, we created the Zikrayat Playlist, which generated personalised playlists based on patients' year of birth. The campaign went live on Anghami's platform to reach caregivers and families, highlighting the role of music in managing Alzheimer's symptoms.
Results
The initiative was successful, with over 206K user impressions and a 30% conversion rate, raising awareness about the power of music in aiding Alzheimer's patients and their families.
